LFA Girls Academy Teams Put On Outstanding Performance in Kansas
LFA GA Teams Play Beautiful Soccer on Road Trip
Lou Fusz Athletic (LFA) Girls Academy (GA) teams were back in action in Kansas this past weekend against Kansas Rush GA League teams. The U13s, U14s, U15s and U17s ended the weekend with massive victories, while the U16s tied and the U19s loss.
“We are seeing progress in all of our teams. Our athletes continue to play an uptempo style that produces numerous goal scoring opportunities and multiple players are converting their chances consistently. Goals are elusive for this group and the focus is generating higher quality opportunities and getting numbers in and around the box to convert our chances.”
Wendy Dillinger
LFA Girls Academy Director
This was an exciting time for our Girls Academy League teams. They experienced their first road trip together. They all had a chance to stay at the hotel and go through team meetings and team building activities. Our GA parents were supportive throughout the weekend, helping fostering a positive atmosphere all around.
“This past weekend we played Kansas Rush. We all played really great games. All of us bonded when we attended the USWNT game and stayed at the hotel. It was such a fun experience!”

Additionally, our GA teams decided to root for the USWNT game against Korea. This turned out to be a great opportunity for out female athletes to come together and watch the world’s best women’s national team in action. At Lou Fusz Athletic, we’re always looking for ways to drive our youth forward.
